The Importance of an NDA

To keep their competitive edge, businesses often require secrecy related to working projects or ideas. Success of the business often depends on keeping these ideas away from competitors. A non-disclosure agreement, or NDA, is a legal document that requires confidentiality of such sensitive information. These agreements may be referred to alternatively as confidentiality agreements. These agreements facilitate the disclosure of information to potential investors, clients, or suppliers while ensuring the necessary confidentiality.
