Shehzad Rajwani practices in the areas of employment law and business litigation. He has represented management and employees in various employment disputes, including those regarding: noncompetition agreements and trade secrets; workplace defamation claims; and wrongful termination cases involving the ADA, ADEA, and FMLA. He has also represented clients in proceedings involving Title VII claims related to race and gender discrimination. In the area of business and civil litigation, Mr. Rajwani has represented clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings involving partnership disputes, breaches of contract and tortious interference with contract claims, breaches of fiduciary duties, and claims brought under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
Mr. Rajwani has been a dedicated advocate for his clients’ interests in various state and federal court forums. He has also represented his clients in proceedings in front of the American Arbitration Association and the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. His client representation has encompassed pre-litigation counseling through trial and appeal.
Mr. Rajwani graduated from Baylor Law School, where he served as President of the Baylor University Minority Law Student Association. In addition, he ranked as an octafinalist during the Law School’s Moot Court Competition and was admitted to serve in the Order of Barristers.
Mr. Rajwani has authored several articles regarding issues in his field. The Dallas Bar Association published an article co-authored by Mr. Rajwani on Family Responsibility Discrimination in 2007.
Mr. Rajwani is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and Texas and has been admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
